First new Iron Maiden music in 6 years!

Oh hell yeah! I just heard this about 45mins ago and already listened to it 5 times, swear to god lol this should sound more like classic maiden for those that didnt like The Writing On The Wall as much. Definitely has the classic gallop, triple guitars, solos and the lyrics are absolutely killer!

You beat me to posting about this and im glad lol
It better than last one but for me its still sounds meh….

I didn’t like production, solo was bit sloppy and sounded lazy to me, overall its not what I expect from legends.

Booooooo! Lol admittedly the production sounds off but i noticed that on the last song: the video was off but they released the audio only version shortly after and it sounded a million times better. So im hoping that happens again here and chalk it upto the the upload itself.

But they are all in their 60s man , this is still really great

Im glad you dig it, coz I didn’t. Back to power slave and seventh son of seventh son, wrath child, wicker man.

Lol man they could play Mary Had A Little Lamb and make it f#cking epic. Im biased as poop with that band admittedly lol
I know you are, I like the band it pisses me off when they put out poop stuff when I know they can do a lot better. It dose not have to be fast….

You are maiden fanboy im tallica fanboy… I’ll always will be…

I dig ALL of Maiden's tunez!
Absolutely! Never heard a bad one in my opinion!
I have always been a fan of Maiden since Killers.
And a lesser known album called
Maiden Japan
Hell yeah! Thats a rare one but a great live EP from the Killers tour. I had a copy of the 3 track EP, The Soundhouse Tapes years ago when Maiden remastered all their albums. They came with an Eddie Silver Dollar sticker and if you collected 6 ( 6 albums) and sent them plus $6.66 to an address, they shipped you a copy of the Soundhouse Tapes. Anddddddd i lost it lmao

They released a total of 3 albums with Diano on vocals but for the life of me I can’t remember the first studio album.
Iron Maiden ??

My wife said it sounded like country too in the beginning. Calling Maiden a country band is permissible grounds for divorce around here lmao

Careful Mike, I'd hate to see you lose your sister too.

FYI I see Mitch posted a SAD emoji reaction. Just to clarify for bro Mitch. The WVa joke is If a West VA couple gets a divorce, are they still Brother and Sister?

You are correct! The first studio album was the self titled 1980 debut " Iron Maiden" and then "Killers" in 1981. They had 3 EPs before Paul Di'Anno was fired, starting with "The Soundhouse Tapes" in 1979, "Live!!!+One" in 1980 and "Maiden Japan" in 1981. But most fans in America had only seen or heard of Maiden Japan, where as the other 2 were more bootleg/overseas releases.

So, 3 albums with Paul, like you said!

Right. My first exposure to Maiden was likely IM, Killers, then Made IN, then Number of....All likely at the years 80-82 at their releases hitting the record stores.

Who can argue the impact of this Band?
