First Clip From My New Workstation:

Was up until 10:00pm with the keyboardist and drummer at his home studio. We completed the drum and key tracks for "Stone Cold" and I sent the Audacity file to myself, came home and laid down the bass track via XLR line out on my Fender Rumble 40...

I then tracked rhythm guitar us in my Double Neck and kind of created my own arrangement, but not too far off Blackmore's version.

I laid down an improvised lead this morning on my Les Paul.

The track hasn't had final EQ yet, but its got a great feel...a bit heavier than Rainbow's version but still tasteful.

No vocals yet...

For the lead I used only room echo. it's a very raw sound, much like the EQ on Rhoad's "Flying High Again." Then, on the left speaker track, I added a delay "tail" just to the end of the solo.

It's very analogue sounding!

Sounds good! I was just looking at the picture of you and the wife. She has the look of true love in her eyes as she looks at you!

She's my only true-life friend - although I am very grateful for my online Mates herein - I treat her like a treasure and I'm given the same in return.
