Mike's Seymour Duncan Convertible is adjustable from 10 to 100 watts. It's running on the 40 watt setting, gain is at 3.5, Bass 1pm, Mids full and treble at 2pm.
We used a vintage Digitech Metal Master pedal to augment and tighten the low end. The gain setting is very low and the effect is subtle with no increase in white noise when switched on. The rest of the controls are basically an EQ which is further tweaked for presence.
I tend to drive the mids all the way up and then take the edge off the tone with the contour control.
The result is a very 70's heavy metal tone that sounds very creamy and thick.
This one was easy!!!!
I suggested that Mike try a chorus with a 2band EQ for a little more flexibility.
Todd's AVT50H needs a little more attention.
We are getting (2) WGS British lead, 16Ω 80 watters and (2) WGS veteran 30, 16Ω 60 Watters for the cabinet.
