Finally Rearranging the Bedroomio

Wow! Thank you sir!!! Shock the Monkey was recorded live(a bit muddy) …here….IIRC. I can’t believe they let me talk them into that song. They were like, “You wanna do WHAT now?!?!”. :rolf:
It was good, a little muddy but good live.

I just listened to Coal Chamber Ozzy version the Sub backing vocals are super deep.

…they are why I know that I don’t want to glue foam to the walls.
Same here.. I bought this really thin plywood stuff at Home Depot - I think it's sold as "Project Board".

Used a can of 3M spray adhesive to glue the foam wedges to it and then hung it on my walls with picture hangers (the completed soundproofing panels end up being very light).

It used to be easy . I signed up for an image hosting sight, immediately it said image to big. Dooh!
I know how to resize them but it’s easier on a computer since I am apparently iPhone illiterate. lol usually I can crop them and chop them down enough to fit.
I use imgur and never have to resize anything. I don't do anything on my phone though so it might not work the same, I wouldn't know.

There’s the rub….I'm not going to be drilling into the cinder block foundation of my chimney for that anytime soon. I’d have to use adhesive, or hang it from the ceiling, or build a standing frame for it/them.
You ever work with drylock concrete sealer “paint”?(I use that term in quotes tongue in cheek)
You have to prep the surface, liberally with muriatic acid, and a wire brush.( fun stuff)
Then it’s like painting with rubberized, lead infused plaster. Goes right on…like ice cold peanut butter.
Becomes part of any porous surface it clings to
It works great. Cleans up like a dream, once it’s cured.
Sucks to put on.
I needed 30 gallons to do the 3 walls, and chimney foundation here.
That was almost 25 years ago….I was almost 25 years younger then. ;)
I’m still picking it out of what’s left of my hair.

These boards are so light, you could literally use those removable adhesive hangers.

Those are much more my speed these days. I did try one when I started hanging pictures down here. It let go after 3 weeks. It was my “Rush” carnival mirror thing. Thankfully it landed on a cabinet on its way to the chair. Didn’t break, but I had to check my shorts. It’s hanging from the ceiling framing now, with a chain. They have them for “outdoor use” on masonry and wood now…I had used the heavy rated ones, for painted surfaces…but not the masonry ones(because my masonry IS a painted surface  :rolf:). I may give one of the masonry ones a shot. To be fair, that Rush mirror is glass, and not super light…but it’s not 5lbs.

I'm one for bolting everything to the wall because it's one less thing to worry about, but my wife bought these removable hangers to hang dish towels on kitchen cabinets without me drilling holes and bolting hangers in them.

I told her they'd fall off after 2 weeks.. they've been there for years now.

:ROFLMAO:

We use the small clear ones for Christmas lights. They work great around the door frames in the living room, and they are nearly invisible.

Back for a minute, try not to be too judgmental all though it is the nature of the keyboard warriors.
Pine is a nice but the pieces I had laying around are as crooked as the Snake River.
I had some left over lacquer sander sealer for now. Waiting on paint to dry someday.

I will have to resolve, my half baked plan is a little undone . I put the right side up first mounted on the wall, successfully. First problem, it fits except for the XLR cable length . The left one is not going to work mounted however the work around will be to flip upside down and extend about 5” and it will sit on the computer desk.

I thought I had this little shelf I could put up to organize some stuff , It’s been in a box since I moved for quite a long time. Turns out it’s flimsy.
So I saved the metal legs from this 6’ bench I had. Now it’s a 29 3/4” bench. Nice welded uprights bolted to 3/4” Birch plywood. I could possibly put an engine block on it now.
The wife would not approve. lol
