Fifa World Cup 2018

England v Belgian now for the losing 3rd place then France v Croatia tomorrow for the big prize.

I reckon Belgian will win comfortably tonight and France will win comfortably tomorrow.
 
I predict France is going to win the cup...just a gut feeling.

Engerluuund are not a particularly good team, so to get to the semis was a good achievement although tempered by the ridiculously easy route there.

France just have a lot of quality players who can score quickly and easily; a bit like Belgium but with a better defence.
 
I guess France winning was ok, but I really was hoping for Croatia to pull it off. Luka Modric has been great throughout the whole tournament, and a country of just a little more than 4 million people getting to the final of the world cup is quite an acheivement. And they played better than France for most of the game. And two of France’s goals came after the ref made bad calls. The first one was after a dive (and Pogba was offside as well), and the penalty kick was a horrible decision. Perisic definitely did not use his hand wilfully.

Of course, there is no point in pissing and moaning about it. France have been deadly efficient in front of the goal, despite playing boring football. And Mbappe is one hell of a rising star. If he keeps up what he is doing he might end up in the same league as players like Pelé, Maradona and Messi (yes, I know @Sérgio will protest, because no one can touch Pelé).

I dont watch that football either -- overpaid ego maniacs pissing and moaning about gettin hit in the head-- well DONT PLAY THEN -- geesh! Thats 90% of the game -- getting hit in the head ! You can go back to your job washing commodes for min wage or make millions to get hit in the head-- er -- duh--

I dont actually watch sports much except an OCCASIONAL rugby-- hockey --or motorcycle Isle of Mann race-- or Dakar Ralley --(note NONE OF THEM WHINE ABOUT GETTING HIT IN THE HEAD-- OR DEAD!) but the ods of me catching one of those 4 at any given time on TV are maybe 45 minutes a year--
My wife runs the TV -- I dont even know how to work the remote-- (and trying makes me angry and I throw it) I dont care really its 180 channels of crap -- but its BUNDLED with my high speed internet so it exists-- Ive gone YEARS without TV-- really didnt miss it-- got a lot more done--
