Fender 2-4 ohm Marshall 16 , Any reasoning ?

Have quite a few M circuits & they def respond to 16 ohm the best(most 4x12 & combos come that way ) & Fender is 2-4 ohm. is there a reason those 2 run those specific ohm ratings?

Generally the low impedance stuff is solid state class D amplifiers. Higher impedances are more suited to valves. Not always, but a decent rule of thumb.
