Favorite body and neck wood for custom bass?

It started life as a 20’th anniversary affinity squire, I got the no name neck from the local mom n pop music store, I put a SD invader in the new pick guard
and painted it sunrise yellow from a $5.00 can of rust oleam and I strung it with 11-54’s tuned to D standard, that particular song is drop tuned so I think dropped C

no... unless you are famous and playing stadia...
if you are like the rest of us and play smaller venues
check out the Roland Cube Bass series.

I like the CB-60XT which has an XLR out... so if you play a larger venue
you can plug it into the mains, and it sounds HUGE... *grins
