Those were manufactured about 25 miles southwest of me in Belle Plain I believe. Boss is still stuck with one. They use a 3.0L Chrysler piston. Don't ask me how I know, or I might get assassinated.

Good ol Peavey---- My Unity Bass has the same neck through and overall shape-- curvature and comfort (it is a wonderfully comfortable bass) however in TRUE PEAVEY FORM ----the just "slap" a battery box---- right there in the middle of that LOVELY center line...........
dang Rednecks! function over form ---- there was enough room under the control cavity cover for a battery I believe
