I ordered the SD Quarter Pounder PJ pickup set today and a set of .045/.105 NYXL strings. I'm hoping the neck ships in the next couple of weeks.

I'm on my fourth coat of Tru Oil at this point. It appears that it will be a very dark gloss burgundy color when it is done. All hardware and electronics have been ordered and are on the way. I will post pics as stuff arrives. I will try to get a well lit pic of the body tonight. Hardware will be all black.

It's coming along pretty well. This is after 4 thin coats of Tru Oil. Last coat was this morning before work. It's got a tiny run now up by the neck pocket that I will have to get out. Probably going to go for about 12 coats. I think it should look pretty cool with the ebony fretboard and black hardware.

The run disappeared with the fifth wipe down. Love this stuff.

And on a sober note this was shot this morning after 12 coats of Tru Oil. The lighting isn't the best, but it is getting a really nice gloss. I could stop now, but since I don't have the neck yet I think I will add a few more coats just for fun.
