Fast Eddie - Isolated Track Ace of Spades:

lol Hey Robert, even the new Kia Soul Turbo comercial on TV has got Motorhead in it.Matter of fact i think its Ace of Spades.

Intercourse!

I nned to quit screwing with guitars an chasing tone and start writing some angry poop again. I'm all screwed up in the brain...

It's you and me brother. We're a dying breed. 80's metal is king. The mullet, yea bad idea....but the music, KILLER!!

Rock on Robert....Rock on! :dood:

For sure...I mean, there is good music in every genre, but the mainstream music these days is crap....

Totally agree. I certainly like music from all walks of life, from every decade. But, as for hard hitting rock and roll.....not so much doing today.

I was listening to Highway to Hell this morning, followed by The Ozzman Cometh on my morning commute...

Not sure what you guys have been using as your source for new music, but there is absolutely no lack of heavy, hard-hitting straight-up rock music being made today. I'm an old guy too, but some of my favorite bands are making killer rock music right now (and within the last few years). I mean, we all have an affinity for the music we grew up with and tend to compare everything else to it but damn there is some killer hard/heavy rock being made by the kids today. Mainstream? Hell no, but it's out there if you go looking.

Edit: Got me thinking, just relatively recent hard/heavy bands (records out in the last few years) worth checking out kind of off the top of my playlist, and not intended to be a complete/comprehensive list:
