My Guitars At Midland Blvd voxman_zpslagovzcn.jpg

Below I made a deal with my wife, she got her way and I got mine, which was to line the walls of the whole bedroom with guitars which ringed every wall.

And some amp heads to play them through. Seasoned with a garnish of Fender Tweed Super! Each photo was from a different house as I'm not one to have moss grow on under my feet. That's what happens when one is an experienced pack rat ! 15308762.gif

i noticed you have Jackson RR :)

cool gear man i like it a lot.

Oh yea, very early one and a hell of a player. I ate ramen noodles for 2 weeks but it was worth it. It came with Duncan Jazz in the neck and I think a Duncan distortion in the bridge. Both pups are perfect together. Had a Kahler from the factory and made that work for me since there just wasn't many around, even in the stores! Only issue with it is that it's a very long guitar, fin to headstock and prone to nasty bangs in the average club aka. Bar. I think I'll measure it .... It's roughly 46" which is longer than the Gibson Flying V ! The case is a little longer than the Explorer and Firebird case, by a nose! I have a Gibson Lacquer stick but the finish is poly which is hard to work with repairing " mystery dents " . The body wood is poplar. I have a couple of ads from the magazines of the time along with the Jackson catalog of the time, all in the case. Any later ones I've played feel nothing like this early one. #338. Sometimes, as a joke I put yellow tennis balls on the headstock tip and on the edge of the wing ... like they do on the chairs in old folks homes. hysterical.gif
