Fake Tube Amps:

Some Bands put amps/speakers in Washing Machines and Dryers too.

If I recall correctly, this started as a gag between Gaddy and Alex. Geddy made fun of Alex for the amount of gear that he brought along - multiple guitars, huge stacks of amps, etc. Geddy played most of his music with one bass guitar, a keyboard, and a pedal board. One of them decided Geddy's side of the stage looked too empty, so they put some appliances out there. As a joke and it stuck.
When I saw them on the Vapor Trails tour they had a roadie feeding coins to a coin-operated dryer from a laundromat. Towards the end of the show they pulled some t-shirts out and tossed them to the crowd fresh from the dryer.

Seriously the three coolest M-F'ers that ever walked onto a stage. RIP Neil.

If I did not know you were seeking function over form, on this SS Marshall, I would have expected a full tolex and everything dressed to the 9's.

However, it makes sense for a Workin Man's tool.

Yeah, he's probably mellowing in his old age, haha. It was like the mid '90s the last time I saw him and I am as certain as I can be that all of them were on and more or less dimed. It was so ridiculously loud we actually moved to a different spot in the room so we wouldn't leave there with tinnitus.
Ever hear the audio of him cussing out a flight attendant back in the 90s? He was drunk and yelled out " You unleashed the f@$#in fury!!!". Id post it here but its real NSFW, so just look it up on youtube lol
He was being a total douchebag for no good reason.

But Dimebag got him good in the 90s on their Cowboys From Hell video with donuts. Not AS NSFW so here lol

I could never condone that kind of behavior.

Its unfortunate really. I actually like Yngwie and he's immensely talented. But as a human being, he has a lot in common with his hero: Richie Blackmore. He too is known for being not the best human being to others lol. Again, very unfortunate because I LOVE Blackmore as a musician

I agree with you on all counts.

I take great pride in being polite, fair and honest.
