Well, what can I say? For me, 2021 definitely covered a wide spectrum. It certainly didn't hold back when doling out the bad:
Another 365 days spent mostly confined indoors; business dried up almost completely; the confinement of lockdown took a serious toll on my stepson's emotional health
But I have to admit that it also handed out more than a few blessings: despite the above, The Missus and I are still firmly employed; my son flew the coop to start university; my daughter branched out and started successfully carving her own personal and professional paths in life; The Missus and I managed to get inoculated 3 times each and stay healthy and safe; two wonderful kittens crossed our path, literally invited themselves into our lives and became our everyday empty nester joy; a simple musical hobby evolved into what I hope will be a rewarding alternate profession, parallel to my cheffin'; I reconnected with many more friends and family that I'd almost forgotten I had and... Was fortunate enough to happen upon a ragtag group of renegades from all walks of life who, as luck would have it, are deeply attuned to the same frequency I am... the band of music lovers I'm privileged to call my brothers and sisters at TTR!
A bad year in many aspects, but however many little good things came from it, they have been life-changing in the very best way!
And for all that and in spite of all the bad, still, I'm thankful!!
May 2022 be the happiest of all new years with my best wishes for love, joy, health and wealth to each and every one of you!
