not much info on the SG-1 on the interwbicles-- please feel free to ad anything yall can dig up -- its a Nashville made '92 edition...24 frets duncan pup--coil split toggle switch -- very dark and balsy tone ---love it

Gibson All American SG I, these are a stripped down version of the SG. It has one humbucker (w/ coil tap),
stop tail / tunamatic, and no pickguard. Looks like most were made in the 90's.

The 90's one is called the All-American SG-I it was a remake of the 70's one.
In 98 Gibson added a pickguard and painted it in new colors and called it the SG-X

The original SG I was made from '72-'77. Had a mini humbucker, although some came with an SG Jr. type P-90. The later SG I was part of Gibson's All American Series, and made from '95-'98(renamed the SG-X in '98) Gibson's line of affordable, no frills guitars, which included a Les Paul as well. The SG I came with, 24 frets, a single 500T ceramic magnet humbucker, volume, tone and and a coil split mini switch.
