Anyone near Dorchester Ma? Just moved here from Galveston, loving the cooler temps and lower humidity, any good places to check out gear-wise?

Mainly vehicle break ins. Working security for about 5 years now that’s the biggest issue, that and packages being stolen. Then taking into account just how big Houston is, violent crime really isn’t too common place for most areas. Mainly because you never know whose armed and whose not.

As long as you aren’t a felon you can walk into a gun store and generally Walk out with a gun in about an hour or less as long as the computer isn’t acting up.

So criminals are pretty careful about selecting targets. I’ve worked as a detention officer and could look up charges of all the inmates. A lot where drug related, shop lifting, the violent crimes where mostly domestic violence related, then the others where gang related cartel. And had one ms13 gang member there. I was moved up to the 6th floor with those guys..
