ETSG was a place of refuge from it all for a long
time for me, and now this site fills that function too.
Most of my experience there has been worthwhile, so I'm not estranged from it,
and see no reason for conflict or even snarkiness. *shrugs

I avoid ETSG completely. Its not a polite forum. I don't associate with rude people on or offline.

Shame, it was never like that when I was there.
I found it to be largely opinionated with a bias towards Gibson's perfection. If you posted that you had an issue with a Gibson, you were told that it was "impossible" to have a bad product from Gibson.
The resident "experts" would frequently contradict themselves in their posts - in writing - and it was somewhat comical to witness their explosive rage when you posted both of their contradictory statements.
I don't miss anything about ETSG.

Oh, I can probably guess why. He's over a lot at Epiphone-Talk forum which I'm on but I mostly lurk over and I don't get too involved with that forum. Raiyn pretty much runs the show over there. He likes hi-jacking all the threads he can and B.S.ing rants and such. He always puts people he don't like on his ignore list and one member over there thought it was pathetic he takes the internet so seriously. He told me lies about eSGEe & RVA and Wav way back but I caught on to his B.S. I can say I'm glad he's not on this forum anymore. He comes across as a self-proclaimed expert if you ask me.

Momentum is defined to be the mass of an object multiplied by the velocity of the object. The conservation of momentum states that the amount of momentum remains constant; momentum is neither created nor destroyed.
Written mathematically is something like this:
dM/dT = 0
Which is reads, “the delta change in momentum (dM) given a delta change in time (dT) equals 0.
Well here’s my theory, that is a corollary of this basic law of physics (conservation of momentum). It goes like this; ever notice that when one as#hole leaves your life, another seems to appear relatively quickly? My theory is named the “Conservation of As#holes”.
It goes like this, the delta (change) in as#holes per delta change in time is equal to zero. Which means as#holes are neither created nor destroyed. The changes in the number of as#holes in your life over a given time span is always zero. Hence the mathematical formula:

Where A = as#holes and T = time
So, just when you think you’ve gotten rid of an as#hole, another one comes along to fill the void. I believe you all have many documented cases of this particular mathematical formula.
