I think a 3 pack is $40, so maybe $13/packI can't see myself even giving them a try, at $20 bucks a pack. I buy D"Addario's 10-46 Nickel Wound for $8, last me three months before going flat. I play 2 hrs a day or more. I have been using them almost 8 years now, and never had one break..

OKGreat strings!!! All plains have wound ends. I noticed improved intonation (less variation) on my personal, working guitars. Very smooth feel too.
Super impressed!!!

OK
What's a Les Paul doing inside the Fender Factory?
That's sacrilege. People are gonna talk about this.
Did Fender buy Ernie Ball or something? Did Gibson buy Fender? or what?
Do you know something we don't know?
That should eliminate the occasional ball-end loosening that most strings occasionally fall prey to.
$20 a set does seem pretty steep though.
Aimed primarily at the luxury market, perhaps, or pros who write off all their strings & other sundries as business expenses.
I used to do that.

I can't envision every scenario at the moment, but I wonder if the wound end will ever fall on a saddle, so as to make the slot for the E-B-G strings too small for them.
