Ernie Ball Music Man

Love it. EBMM has fantastic build quality and IME they always have.
Plus they have AHPT. I once read Leo ferreted away that secret in a midnight raid when he sold Fender to CBS. They said he buried it in a chest in a cave near Bakersfield for the 5 years before Tri-Sonic and it was almost lost when the map was misplaced by Esther.
Fortunately Forrest White dragged Leo to a sweat lodge and in a moment of clarity he remembered the location and the technology was recovered. Shortly thereafter he applied for a process patent and now MusicMan and G&L have access to the secretive formulae. His estate sometimes grants license to Fender Japan. Whatever bridges were burned, Leo wrote in his will and testament that the company still bearing his name shall never receive license to his Advanced Headstock Painting Technology. To this day G&L and EBMM offer the feature but only Fender Custom Shop and MiM and MiJ can occasionally don painted headstocks.
