He came in my Denver guitar shop once. We didn’t engage much but he seemed ok.Tracii Guns. Knew him from BITD before G&R. Before he called himself "Guns". I called him Ulrich. LoL

They’re both great and all but personally I’d rather listen to Tracii Guns than either of them for the music. Even most Cream was pretty weak sauce, and Clapton’s solo work is quite testosterone-challenged. And while Beck was the best ever at innovation I literally cannot sit and listen to his music, it’s just not good.
I want to start a band called Rip Van Fleetwinkle of old white haired Gandolf looking rockers and we will take all the Zep and Greta Van Fleet riffs and rewrite them into new tunes and then give all the publishing to the Willie Dixon estate.I thought Clapton was the most innovative player until I realized all the songs I like are covers. Without Willie Dixon and company, Clapton wouldn't have had a career.
They are pretty good covers, tho.
