Clapton has sounded awful every minute he has played a Stratocaster. I just don't understand what the man is doing - he had EPIC tone with a Gibson. That there is just plain awful sounding.

I donno if it really sounds that bad...
but what I do notice is that Frampton is walking all over Clapton and won't let him play a solo without constantly butting in.
I would have laid back and let old slowhand play one, that would have been more professional.
(you could respect your elders for at least 16 bars...but noooooooo )
