Epiphone prophecy

The Prophecy Series is a line of Epiphone guitars beginnning in 2008, that started with traditional designs and transformed them to better meet the needs of today's metal and hard rock players.

The new Prophecy Collection features four distinct shapes that all share common features. In addition to the guitar style, the model either is an EX with EMG active or the new EpiActive pickups, GX with Gibson Duirty Fingers USA pickups, or FX with Original Floyd Rose Tremolo.

Common features include highly figured quilt Maple tops, 24-fret SpeedTaper satin necks with binding, jumbo frets, unique "blade" inlays, graphite nut, Made-in-USA pickups, Epiphone's new, patent-applied-for Straplocks, hand-stained colors, eye-catching Pearl knobs, and a lifetime limited warranty.

"Because they're all Customs, they all have bound bodies and necks. The new Prophecy Collection takes advantage of all the design work and testing we've been doing over the past two to three years".

I had a Prophecy "Explorer" for awhile. It had EMGs and a FR. I really wanted a true Gibby Explorer so I sold it and got the Lzzy Hale. I had some issues with that original FR. Because of they way the tuners are situated further back from the saddles unlike the Ibby Edge Pro, if you have a string with a longer intonation it became very hard to turn the tuner because there was no lever left on the intonation shaft if that makes sense?
Take the black stem on the Low E amd move it backwards more. The tuner has very little to push on to lift the string to tighten for tuning when ypu turn it and it drove me nuts.

I always did like the looks of thaT particular prophecy explorer, but back to the point. That’s rather odd. Both of my guitars with Floyd’s are set up and tuned for drop D and never had that issue. Then again maybe that’s why epiphone isn’t releasing the prophecies with FR’s this time around.

I dunno. I have had another FR1000, both my Ibby Edges plus the Yamaha and have never seen that. The Ibbys have the tuner further back and a separate intonation screw so intonation screw doesnt affect it.
