Epiphone/Norlin era FT-133 Acoustic

No, mine didn't. Just a standard saddle.
But I have a different label. I think yours is newer.
In theory it's a great idea. In execution it falls short.
Pot metal base, plastic saddle... They could have done so much better.

Adjustable bridge saddle...

Now you see it.

First step to tone, gut it.

Then we make a lovely little insert to take the place of all that pot metal with a color similar to the bridge.

And in place.

Ahh, much better.
Now add a compensated bone saddle & some fresh strings and it's like the adjustable pot metal & plastic tone sucking thing was never there...

^^^^^^^^^^^This, this is why I consider you our Yoda.
Thanks so much Raiyn. I'm not worthy of such praise but it is appreciated.
I just like to improve on things that need improving.
This and other forums are chock full of talented folks that know to get the most out of a guitar.
Just like music. I borrow a little bit of this. Steal a little bit of that and share what I can with anyone that'll let me.
Everybody that contributes to this & other forums is my Yoda.
