Epiphone Factory tour

I'm with the Col. on the 2 sets of tools thing.
I remember that same story as well about the whole world adopting the metric standard too.
I can eye bolt sizes pretty well but most vehicles have mixed both - so is that 1/2" or 12mm?
Sonoffa.. of course it is not the wrench I pick up first.

And its worse with allen head bolts!!!

Makes no difference to me. I have 3 sets of automotive tools - SAE, Metric and British Standard, or what was once called "Whitworth."

I don't care if a country uses metric or the whole inch/foot thing. The USA uses the inch/foot thing and that's fine with me. Other countries use metric and that's fine with me too. What isn't fine with me is countries trying to tell each other what measuring system to use ;)

Me, I like countries using different money, different measuring systems, eating different food, driving on opposite sides of the road, talking different, dressing different, etc. It'd be a mighty boring world if the whole world did everything the same way. And, for me that includes measuring things and even those countries that drive on the wrong side of the road (which is a matter of perspective based on which country you live in - lol).

Not sure if I went off track here - if so, just ignore me ;)

Failure to use metric cost NASA hundreds of millions of dollars years back. And as all NASA's money comes from you - well, you can work out the rest.

I started out with Metric. My point with guitars I gave my friend Betsy a 1958 Strat shell pink she gave it to her girl A'kimmi sold it ended up with 5 guitars and two basses

When I see a Metric hardware guitar I think of resale value on the used market 50 to 75 % loss I can say that with PRS USA made guitars poor resale value.
G & L you cant give them away. If your looking for a player guitar were in great deal times if your looking for an investment guitar collector not so good.
