Eminence V1216 or Electro Harmonix 12VR75 Speaker:

Hey Robert, Are you sure you mean Electro Harmonix and not Electro Voice? I have an Electro Voice speaker, but I've never heard of an Electro Harmonix speaker. They make pedals...
Ha ha... I was thinking the samething! But...:

$45 each at Guitar Center. Decent customer reviews but I can't find any detailed info and specs on these.

I found specs...lots of resonance frequencies and such...a couple of guys reporting good results in a Fender Blackface...

here's what i found on the EH - 12VR75

  • Power Rating 75 watts RMS
  • 12” Paper cone
  • Treated paper edge
  • 1.75 inch voice coil
  • 48 oz Ceramic magnet
  • Frequency range 70 - 5000 Hz
  • Sensitivity 1W/1M (SPL) : 100 dB
  • Nominal Impedance: 16 ohm

I wanted to like the DSL no disrespect I just need a good clean sound the DSL sounded like hash to me
99% of the time I play a tweed Deluxe volume 1 tone 4 that's on stage

take the crap off of it just dry you will know what I'm talking about but hey I just tried 5 of them if it works for you Robert great

This is more what I'm into for a dry amp sound no effects. Fender Bassman and a Fender Deluxe. A fat mid-range.
Not exactly the amps in the video use 16uf filter capacitors I use 33uf capacitors no flabby bass.
