Eliminating high-pitched mixer noise

Until this morning, I had no clue I'd be even understanding any of this stuff, now I am actually checking out vids like this and actually grasping the details.

If I weren't going to Delaware tomorrow to see my mom, after going from 0 to 50 in knowledge, I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me I'd wind up in London at Abbey Road and having someone set me down at the mixing board and going to town on it LOL.

I better stop and go to bed before I fry my brain LOL

I will have a noisy Behringer available soon if you want to tinker and learn Chili. Maybe it will not be as noisy on your PC. No charge and free shipping as a thank you!

Wow, that is nice...and expensive! I would like to have a need for it one day. I love this stuff!
It does what multiple pieces of my dinosaur system does. Touch sensitive, motorized faders are awesome for mixing automation...onboard multitrack capture is awesome to me, and the ability to act as a control surface for software is key....
My stuff still works though...even 14 years later....but it’s good to know that there is something out there that will scratch that itch.

I saw lots of nice looking Peavey mixers. Any good?
I can’t speak of anything usb of theirs...nope.
My first live mixer was an old Peavey though....never failed me...traded for my first Soundcraft set up(that I just traded the, still fully working, powered mixer from...for my PRS) back in 1994.
The Peavey USA made hardware was ok. I can’t honestly speak for the current crop.

I know very little about those things. For the times I need it, I call a smart person. I send mine off to a studio I have worked with. I never record that many treasures. I like to keep some live stuff.
