One little problem..."Dumble Clone,"
it doesn't sound anything like a real Dumble.
It sounds like a Princeton reverb.
Other than that it looks like a Dumble.

So AS I UNDERSTAND IT---- no 2 Dumbles are the same --- they are (or were) made by Howie boy --- individually per artist............
or---- he just built stuff............and no two are the same because , well he just BUILT stuff and parts and design and layout changed as he went along?

SO based on that --------
here is my DUMBLE-----------

---I had Howard hide a 1 watt bumble in the blackstar cab----- ;) ;)
cost me 6 packs of twinkies and a pizza w/ 2 liter soda
;)

guess this is my Dumble. situation, Simble. Did record 1 song last year into a Pro Reverb with it. Mess with it from time to time & tend to find myself gravitating to a more British type mid flavor. It def does something the midrange tho. I do dig Larry Carlton, as much as the heavies come out in the music, Steely Dan is prob my fav band.

if we are talking about pushing gain & retaining clarity.... The mesa amps are absolutely amazing at full note definition under gain..Kinda like what they did to a Fender circuit a lit bit more, especially the versatility..fender clean to drop tune madness in a click of footswitch

Jay Graydon doing Peg think is a dumble..killer killer tone. Cool thing about amps..each one will bring an instant new song soon as you plug in,.,better have the looper ready to catch it before the brain ruins it & start moving buttons & reading about what others do..lol
