using a bose sound system.... (not crappy computer tweaker speakers)

really -- uhm .... for $$$ difference the pedals sound (through the interwebs) very very "close" -- maybe not "in the room" -- but -- ........

I think the NUX sounds better than the Doner .... but... both sound decent..... for under 50.00 compared to >>>>>> ?
50, 70, 150,000.00??? $ for the REAL thing .......

Im keen to try one of them -- was into the NUX MEsa clone but I reall dont play that much HIGH GAIN stuff so Im more intrigued by the dumble clone

iSet still has the dumbler for 24.00 out there ....and a HOST of other pedals on the AMazonus websitius

Maybe I'm crazy, or deaf, but the Dumble sound just doesn't do it for me. I prefer Marshall or Fender sounds.

I mean, I've never heard or seen one in person, but In all of the Dumble demos I've ever heard, none has ever made me go "WOW I gotta have that".

a couple made me go "he sounds like John Mayer!" ..... but ........ most make me go ..... IT COSTS HOW DAMN MUCH???????????

The Dumbler sounds pretty decent in person with the volume maxed out. I totally expect the NuX to be much better even, I don't think that first guy or Ryan Burke do them justice. I think the Dumble pedals are alot like the amps, and Klons too, in the sense that they sound best with single coils and particularly Strats. There's just something about the way that it articulates the bloomy rounded spank from Stratocaster pickups that you just don't get with humbuckers on those pedals.

I mean don't get me wrong they do sound decent with humbuckers, but it almost seems as those were made with single coils in mind. For my money I really think it is the sound that most mid to higher gain Strat players are looking for.
Well, I'm a mid to high gain Strat player, so dammit now I'm gonna have to watch all of these videos. Just what I needed; more OD pedal GAS.

24.00 on amazon......... mine will be here tomorrow LOL

Well mines here....... been using it -- not sure that it SOUNDS like a DUMBALL ....or a dumb ball -- or -- ....you know cause no 2 sound the same (great marketing scam) "continuity in manufacturing ??? FVCK that ..... tell em no 2 are the same and build WTF ya want ---- BRILLIANT!!!" ---

I wouldn't know if it sounded like a dumb bull or not. I've watched dumb bull vids on you toob, and I still can't figure out what the hell the dumb bull sound is.

To me they just kinda sound like nothing... no amazing bass, mid, or treble sound... nothing stands out. They're just like a flat response... like an amp that sounds like nothing.

I guess I need a drive pedal that sounds like nothing, and then I will have the dumbbull sound.

Come to think of it, a Klon kinda sounds like nothing too. Maybe I need a Klon.

Larry--- sounds like LArry --- through anything ....................................... Fender tweed -- for the steely dan sessions....... hhmmm...... (13:25 in)

I love Robben Ford’s sound in that video. Even with iPhone and YouTube compression, WDR’s recordings of Rockpalast are always top notch. Can’t wait to check it out again later.

I’m shut off from pedals. I’m not going to get a Zendrive.

and how can you can complain that it DOESNT sound like a dumble? -- it might sound like a DIFFERENT dumble than your comparing it to or want it to sound like ...... Im telling ya Howard found a way to sell 300 Brooklyn Bridges ;)

I

Because if a transistor sounded like a Dumble, I would feel shame.
But a Dumble does have 1 transistor...
