DSL40C Goes To Hell:

Sound thinking.

I'm thinking about taking the advice of Smitty in replacing the V1 with the new JJ EC833-MG first - then test and report

Then Don's suggestion of new EL-34's - then test and report

Then sawp the Clestion 70/80 back in - then test and report

Years ago, a guy I played with had one of those. I do agree. It’s a nice amp. He actually loaned it to me for a set of events I was playing over a weekend. I found it pretty easy to dial in a good tone.

VS265: It's heavy, it's fugly...but it works Since 1997 :)

This tube - Russian-Made Gold Lion T12AX7 - really made the VS265 come alive...

1. New JJ ECC83-MG
2. New TAD-7025WA
3. 1997 'Marshall U.K.' Marked Tube
4. 1954 Date Coded 'Ken-Rad' T12AX7 - Longe Plate/Pewter Plate
