Damn shame they stopped production.

I'm wondering now if the new DSL is going to go bad like the old one did.

You know there is a test to check the board before you put new tubes in.
I would highly recommend you do this test to avoid frying any more output tubes.

DSL100HR tubes were old. Its wear and tear…. Its done its job 5+ years. Im replacing tubes in that one.

I have other DSL 2000 which Im taking to the gig. Last time I crank it it blew the fuse…. Im not gonna crank it this time and hopefully I can get through gigs without issues.

Glad it’s an easy fix so far on the 100HR

Last time I had it to tech he said one of the tubes was doggy and not it finally gave up.

He said I was lucky i didnt burn transformer on my last gig. Apparently only three tubes were working. No wonder why I could not hear myself despite having master vol almost full…

Yep. I’ve been there with my DSL100H. After an 8 hr jam. At the end it was pandemonium (everything louder than everything else) but fun. I couldn’t hear my amp on 11 when standing right next to it.

After a thorough inspection, a touch up of potentially weak solder joints, and new tubes all around she’s been strong ever since.

Hoping for the best with yours.

That was me I stood next to 4x12 master almost full….. could not hear anything especially leads…. Which I have set louder then my rhythm….

Only difference with yours and mine i only had 3 tubes working.

My tech said it was not pumping out 100w due to doggy tube last time…. I didnt change it and now it completely gave up.

Ramo, it has been since June 2025. What valves did you wind up with? Did the amp resume life normally after getting new ones and getting biased, etc?

I have not replaced it, it’s still down

Been using other heads for gig.

I had too many unexpected bills one after another.

picked my car from garage on Wed, had brakes done and some other part. Waited like forever part to come… finally I fixed it… today on my way home started making new noises… when I turn right… At this point I set this car on fire! I’m not going to fix and sell it as is… it’s really nice to drive but it drained my bank acc.

Yea, thats one… drained my blood and money… its a shame tho I really like that car as its so nice to drive. But is 17y old and things start going wrong. Never buy car from guy who has no teeth!
