Ok, kiddies are in bed, sitting here listening to Candlemass....at about a quart of 80 proof Scotch, I think I figured it out...

I HATE my tone....my style...my vocals....

I can replicate things well enough to make a living doing it, but my OWN stuff, I just really dislike it.

I guess I'm just going to have to live with it and produce the CD regardless....
 
Maybe someone else likes your tone, style and vocals.
It's not about you. It's about the music.

We are often our own harshest critics. I have heard on many occassions a professional musician state that they thought their biggest hit would be a flop before it came out.
