Hurry up and install that damn thing! I have the exact same thing laying on my bench waiting for my lazy ass to get busy!

Love to hear what you think before I do surgery...

...oh and I have his harnesses in two of my Les Pauls and they are great!

You know, Mate...it's just some poop.....like the bumpy things in front of the supermarket, or the little metal tab that keeps you from popping wheelies in a shopping car...the Gibson PCB RESTRICTS your options..BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, yes, I know its cheaper, but it pisses me off...

That's all good boutique items that could make your guitar very touch sensitive ! While the listener might not be able to tell the player would feel it's response through his fingers! Others will say it's all a hill of beans since they might not be able to hear, fell or tell a difference ... that about sums up the issue on the members of most forums. Bourns pots, I hear, are excellent but I've never checked them out yet, let us know how it all comes together

Soon....

I almost feel like a BASTARD putting GFS pickups in a Gibson....

Not sure why the drunk part, but the Tone Man choice should be a fine improvement,,,,,,,,,,,, I am thinking I made my own version of your Mod from scratch with the Tone Man's supplies. I am thinking the only difference in mine and yours are cap values. I think I might have used a 22 and 33

Let it out, buddy, let it out!

Just don't install the new harness with a headache.

Right now, we are waiting for Tone Man (Gary) to confirm whether or not this harness will physically fit in my 2016 Gibson SG's small cavity....

Robert, see about sending Gary a cardboard template with the holes punched in it. Maybe he can attach the pots to the template, wire it up and voila the setup tailor made for your SG.

That is how I made my setup. Template, pots attached and then wires, caps etc all cut to fit just right.

I decided to abandon the Gibson....it's just taking too much time and effort....
