Drum Grooves: Masters of Funk, Rock, Etc.


I have always dug Eric Kretz drum styles too. He plays for the song, that is for sure.
Cool simple groove on Sour Girl. JR Brown on Steel guitar is a nice touch too. Nothing tops Robert DeLeo's tasty bass lines too.
 
Lol, as I was posting drummers and bass players, naturally my boys Flea and Chad came to mind. Despite thinking about post Chad and Will Ferrell, I decided to hold off. Adrian took care of it for me.
 
I know I have posted videos of my friend and Drum teacher in other places, some clips were of him playing with Cirque Du Soleil and others were all manners of bands he has played with. It wasn't until today that I found this clip of him just lighting it up at this little pub in Baltimore. In some spots, he has those sticks flying so fast I barely see them go. Hope you guys enjoy.
