Driverless Motorcycle

Driverless motorcycle is kind of an oxymoron.
What's the point?
Kind of like having a big R/C toy.

We have Teslas version of that, and it's not quite there yet.
It allows the car to sometimes do things that you don't want to do.
Unscheduled left turns when you planned on going straight and subtle things like that.
It has cameras that follow road markings and signs.
Yes, the fuking thing can read.
Fortunately you still control the show and can override the autonomous drive with the steering wheel.
But it's just not ready for prime time, yet.

Nice trio there Don O.
Not much fun about driving here in NJ.

I think it is the coming of a repeat of history.
During the industrial revolution period, advances in science and technology had man giddy thinking he could control nature, then:
Titanic.

All the eggs seem to be going into this A. I. technology basket, then:

Or the sun (or the Chicoms) EMP our power grids or satellites.
Start practicing you morse code and flag signals, boys.

Forgive my dark mood lately; I fear for the future on several levels.

has humanity truly become that FVCING LAZY ??????????

I read some of you guys' comments. Adrian Dono, S5.

I can 100% say my old school opinion is WTF, HAIL NO, YOU got to BE KIDDIN.
BUT then what about folks who at some point during long trips and possibly even short ones where some form of fatigue or even narcolepsy will occur before reaching the destination? SO, if a system could be standard equipment that controls the vehicle in the event someone might fall asleep, this could be a good thing. No?

I can see a controlled stop, but not continuous driving.

I like the orange one the best.

Honestly though, the chrome bumper, tri power would fulfil all my earthly desires...
Good tastes :run:

And the 69 427/400 tripower now resides in Boca Raton. Sold it to a great car guy last December before we retired here in Lake Arrowhead. Went from having a garage for 5 cars, down to 3 (and 2 living outdoors with critters, but I digress).

I don't want any driverless motorcycle , car , truck, Suv, or garden tractor of any kind period. I want to drive my own vehicles, thankyou very much!

Same, what's the sense of a self driving motorcycle. The thrill is twisting that throttle!
