The common themes here are that school and the armed forces appear to recur in dreams. Were these 'traumatic' experiences to any significant degree?

Yeah. I hated high school and I hate authority. Neither of them had, nor have, my best interest in mind.

Traumatic I don’t know, no expert in that scientific area, but as long as someone’s personality hasn’t fully evolved those experiences definitely leave a lasting “impression”. Looking back I don’t have any ill feelings about school, military service and university but every chapter had it’s challenges.

I have the occasional dream of being back in the Army. My headgear was misplaced, and I was gonna get some serious crap for that. So I would look for going indoors somewhere.

Earlier my wife told me about the Walmart dream that she had last night. Then I started to tell her about my dream last night of being with 3 women.

She interrupted wondering if she was there. I said "no, you were at Walmart ".

I think that's pretty much a similar thing like Seamus and his wife had, innit?

I'm nearly with three women every night. Nearly on Monday, nearly on Tuesday...

I guess I'm too far removed from my military days to still have dreams about being in, or being recalled. I did 9 years...I'll have been separated 30 years next may.
