It has been while but I did have many recurring disaster dreams. They were always related to a nearby water source, like a damn burst, or a flash flood, bridge wash out, torrential rain fall.
One in particular from when I was in my late teens I still remember. It was a torrential rain fall with an approaching tornado. The clouds were so dense with water they actually began to reflect the houses beneath them. It was like odd shapes of mercury in the sky. Lightning bolts were buzzing like an electric chair or the making of the Frankenstein monster, Jacob's ladder type sounds, just constant. The twister had a very dark cloud of what appeared to be dirt and debris but as it got close I saw it was people mixed up inside it as well in some geometric spiral or a logarithmic natural shape like a still green forming pine cone only shiny and dark too. It became very loud with the buzzing and roar of the wind just as it came to me and then it fizzled out completely retreating into the sky but leaving a pile of bodies, dust, trees, bits of blown up houses etc right in front of me. The bodies were intertwined in some weird very large upside down basket ball net that was dropped.
And then I woke up.
