All the USA manufacturers of guitar amp transformers are having extreme difficulties in obtaining some of the raw materials for building the transformers. For some vendors it used to be a two week turnaround. Now it's up to an eight to twelve week turnaround... or even more. I'm assuming this affecting guitar amp manufacturers too.

And I got another email yesterday saying that things have been delayed again…until at least thr middle of November.

I just got a call from Sweetwater. The amp has arrived and they are shipping it out to me!

One time a fellow SG player was interested in a 60's SG Special or JR, that the Towson Md GC had for sale. He was looking for guys to go look at it in person for him. I could have done it, and actually asked the GC Sales guys, off the cuff. THey said NOPE, it was set aside in the back for a BUYER already. I told them I likely was a friend of that buyer and he asked me.... But they refused. Doofus's

The speaker is the Eminence Redcoat. The engineer at Sweetwater eventually suggested that after we talked for awhile. I have some really nice, 3/4” birch plywood to use for the cabinet. It will probably be an open back cab, but it’s going into an isolation cabinet.
