ok, update. I rerecorded the ending solo. took out the harshness of some of the bends so i think it blends a bit better, phrasing is largely the same, i was just a tad more active on the pickup selector switch.
 
use the same one, i replaced the file on soundcloud so you should be able to just use the same link
 
Much better, i listen to it on my phone sounded bass was clipping a bit, will check on my pc later.

yea, the trouble with trying to mix on headphones is its extremely hard to dial in the mix for all devices. car stereos it sounds just fine except for the beginning solo where the passive pickups of my schecter reaper where getting some feedback. the rest of it through headphones sounds ok i think as far as preventing clipping.

bob rock also uses profesional mixing boards, is primarily a producer and sound engineer and uses thousand dollar monitors with 30-40 years of experience...
im a guy who works 12 hour shifts at another job, has various other hobbies, and mixes via reaper and $50 headsets :LOL:

Yea but he is no tough guy like you. You have done great mixes before, now it sound it was rushed to finish quickly.

because it kinda was, i'll fix the beginning eventually. just been tired from work, gym, three different martial arts, and this weekend i get my daughter so i wanted to get it largely done so i can kinda chill and work on the final touches at my leisure.
