Same here. I remember Friday nights at the local YMCA basement "canteen room" where 13 year old boys could hang out, listen to music and possibly even dance with a girl.
Thanks for the memory!
In 1963, at the canteen, this song was very popular.

That's one thing about living in SoCal...I have literally been on a ski slope in the morning in frigid conditions and closed out the same day with 80/27-degress on the beach that afternoon.
