I guess so. Please pardon my ignorance with tubes. The only tube amp I owned was a '68 Ampeg Gemini. It caught on fire during band practice. Lol. I plugged in the Marshall and the tube very faintly lit up in the dark. I couldn't see it lit up with the lights on. It should light up more than that right?Shouldn't it be lit up?
I've had it about 3 years. I bought broke for $30. I used it as a speaker cabinet for about a year. I decided to attempt to repair it today.how long have you had it -- never heard of that model-- very cool from the videos --
but hey its a MARSHALL![]()
I'm gonna order a tube.Id think the cheapest option would be replace the tube.......if the sound doesnt return.............................then oits AMP REPAIRMAN time (soldering will most CERTAINLY be involved!!!) horror----I feel for you my brother
It's not really black but it's not really lighting up. I'm ordering a tube. Can't really tell.
Is the tube turned black inside the glass?
Just plug another tube in and find out....
Okay... Thanks John!
