A few have asked me to explain my use of twin EQ's, so I thought this would be a good way to lay it out.
Going into the front of the amp = Korg Pitchblack >>> TS-9 >>> EQ #1 >>> CS-3 ----~~--- NS-2 -------> Input
Into the FX Loop = Boss FV30L Volume Pedal >>> DD-3 >>> EQ #2 >>> CE-5 -------> FX Loop
Amp volume is set to 1-2pm and controlled with FV30L.
EQ #1 (right) is on 100% of the time. That's my basic rhythm tone shaper. The TS-9, Compressor and Chorus are also always on - all of the time.
For 'cleaner' passages, such as ,"Rock Me" by Great White, I just roll off the guitar volume a bit.
EQ #2 is my solo tone and signal boost. When combined with EQ #1, it produces a very warm, full solo tone.
That's pretty much it...
