Does It Matter. . .

Where the wiring channels intersect the pup cavities of a 2 HB guitar? I can drill a single channel that touches both cavities and gets to the control cavity in a straight line but it will be towards the middle of the neck pup cavity and in the corner of the bridge pup cavity. I dont think it matters, but thought I'd ask the collected talent here.

Thanks.

If you put the wiring channel in the wrong place, you'll cause an irreparable rift in the space-time continuum, and the planet will be overrun by Orcs from Middle Earth.

As long as the wire doesn't get in the way of things and it doesn't add unnecessary wire lengths I say it doesn't matter. I'm not a fan of unnecessary wire lengths (within reason). I removed, literally, 8 feet of extra/excessive wire out of an epiphone wild cat once.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

Nope ....As long as it all make since in the end. There really aren't any rules besides proper neck angle.
The two sister build I have going on . I missed the bridge pickup cavity location. On both!! I ended up using the tunnel for the bridge ground wire cause they lined up with the bridge stud whole.
Redrilled to the proper location. All is well and know one s gonna care.
