Does Anybody Get This $hit???

I am coming down with a case of that myself. I hope it goes away.
People try to put us d-down (Talkin' 'bout my generation)
Just because we get around (Talkin' 'bout my generation)
Things they do look awful c-c-cold (Talkin' 'bout my generation)
I hope I die before I get old (Talkin' 'bout my generation)
BTW, My generation, however unwillingly is still powering the economy with both innovation and sweat.
We are both like and unlike our parents' generation, wondering when the initiative and innovation of our successors will become apparent.

My Generation. 50 years on and it is a classic - loved by our generation and every kid I play it to (and you'd be amazed how many of them go straight to download sites and grab every Who album they can find). I'm not sure that Sheer Terror's offering will enjoy quite the same longevity.

Now this is an NFL Super Bowl Halftime show that would be very interesting. At the start of the 2nd Quarter beer prices should be reduced by half. Then do a fan participation for the pit. Ratings should go thru the roof... :fan:

Slightly unkind joke about the Superbowl on TV last night. If you want to know how boring American Football is, the half time act livening up the Superbowl this year is Coldplay.

I've forgotten it. already. I got into the punk scene in SF because the demand for bands made the money very good. My partner Bob and I discovered that we could turnout 10 punk songs in an hour and literally created the band and were working in a matter of a few days. One of the stranger things about it was that we were totally anonymous. We played as Parveaux et al one night and The Bush Street Back Alley Blues Band, the next, in the same clubs. No one ever suspected that we were the same band. I saw so much stupidity, from a guy diving from the balcony at a Berkeley show to a full on riot at a club in Sacramento, that after a very successful six month run, I just couldn't stand the audience anymore. Keep in mind that I normally played biker parties and mob joints. They were nap time at daycare in comparison. I still see some of Parveaux's fans and I am sad to say that most of them really haven't evolved much in the ensuing quarter century, but it could be attributed to brain injury, I suppose.

One man's pain is another man's pleasure.
One man's trash is another man's treasure.

I'm just not that one man.

It didn't even help that we got to do it with pretty girls. Too bad I liked Basketball, Baseball, Dodgeball, gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer any of the real sports which all made more sense for gym class. Square dancing just seemed lame.

I recall doing the square dancing right about the same time all the girls had the secret meeting in the gym that no boys could attend.
Man were we curious what was going on...the windows in the gym were covered so no one could see in...we thought we were missing
out on something spectacular...once I found out what it was about I was damn glad I wasn't included...

Well, i do not mind the music. Not the amarican trash punk boys making noise in my vicinity. (And i did not even try to listen to Endstille after looking up their Wiki entry - people who want to make music like a WW2 machine gun ... no sorry, neither my thing, not the thing of my 20 year old sons).
But i do mind those people. Not because of the ridiculous violent games in front of the - their thing. But i would leave a concert if something similar happened. Too dangerous for me.

But I would not like to meet anyone of these alone on the street - i actually could, it is the region i am living. These are indeed all people meeting the clichee of acting as soccer hooligans. Even more as German neo-nazis attacking people of color just for fun.
