without a doubt..for me..almost all songs i strum for recording rhythm ..this thing..splits to singles & has a mid position that squaks if needed or is big & round. It can pull of any thing needed.

Only partially...Blackmore style...no scalloping at all below 5th fret...then it starts in on the high strings...gets to full width by 9th fret....it’s weird, but I played the frets off the original neck and my favorite shop owner told me to try this neck....keep it if I like it....that was around 2003 IIRC.

Smitty's original post asked about which guitar or what instrument you grab to unwind.
So I posted one of my CBG's.
It truly is my unwinding instrument and seeing that they are always laying around, the handiest to grab.
They are the ones that get most playtime.
But if I had to pick my favorite guitar, the one that I'd never sell, it would have to be my 98' PRS Custom 22.
It remained virtually unmolested in my care for close to 20 years, then one day in a moment of divine inspiration, it met my router.
Some say I committed sacrilege, others applauded my boldness.
When the sawdust settled, I had a unique guitar that still inspires me with a trio of Lollar standard wind Imperial humbuckers.
The 5 way rotary switch was retained & functions as intended, the middle pickup is activated via push pull tone pot.
I had it out yesterday for some exercise. It's aural nirvana with a Mesa Rectoverb 25.

Please, no more GAS... I have plenty of it... trust me...
I just don't have that type of sentiment to single out "The One" guitar out of my arsenal. I'm so screwed up, that I really believe that I'm going go hurt the feelings of any of my guitars that doesn't get picked as "The One".

when i dont play my SGJ.. feel like am cheating tho.. just can't unwind with, gigi..opposite effect..it winds me up & she feels so nice..

hey..do they have to be all female?...i know we spank em & caress them more than our spouses...but some of mine are battle axe's could go to war with..like that ESP LTD..nothing feminine about that beast..
