Do I really need another.

uhm
HELLL YES.

( I was actualy looking at that one Saturday thanks to RVA) but -- I went a different Direction -- you NEED to scoop that thing up

No tone control bugs me. Then again, that's just me!

I know it's probably an illusion, but look how close the "D" string tuner is to the headstock. Are all PRS guitars like this?

EDIT: the low "E" string tuner button and not the "D" string tuner button.

I don't know if they are all like that, but it makes sense. One of PRS's hallmarks is trying to make as straight a string pull as possible. Although the position of the D and G machine heads in this example don't allow for a perfectly straight string pull, it is still straighter than you may find on many other 3x3 headstocks.

My mistake... I meant the low "E" string tuner button...

I gotta tell you, my PRS is a great feeling and playing guitar. The set up was spot on right outta the box, just a very slight adjustment to get it in tune. The PRS and my SG are my favorites over LP, Strat and Tele types.

That's one cool looking PRS with just one pick-up...a P-90! They are awesome sounding pick-ups and are well sought after. There are a few famous guitarist that disconnect their tone controls because they keep hitting them altering the tone. Here's a video explaining why one pick-up guitars sound so awesome.

;>)/

On some older models, the D&G tuners share a screw hole.
WTF?!?!

Straight string pull you say
