Drone catches amazingly fast-moving American River after storms
Jan 11, 2017
A look at the North Fork Dam on the North Fork of the American River via drone Tuesday morning, Jan. 11, 2017. That water is flowing fast.

The latest El Nino caused some of the worst flash flooding the UK has ever seen. That was all up in the North. We had one storm right over my home in London in 1975. A supercell stopped dead overhead - almost 8 inches of rain in two hours. Meteorologists say this was under-recorded because a lot of it was hail, and in tests they found that 30% of these bounced out of the rain gauge.
