DeadPedal - War Pigs Cover

Ok,

Thanks to @Sp8ctre for alerting us to a major FUBAR in this recording. The drummer and I are not producers and we just formed this side project a few weeks ago, so we got a lot of work to do and things to learn. Basically, we somehow got all the vocals only on one speaker. This morning, I remixed the WAV file, but I am not able to alter the individual tracks. I pulled down some high frequencies (cymbals mostly) and did what I could (limited by only having a complete WAV file to work with) to improve it. This is as good as its gonna get without re-recording.

Critiques????

Wow, Guys....

DeadPedal is a musical paradise. It's a place of total bliss and tranquility without any preconceived notions, politics or control over the project.

It's the first time that Robert and I (R1 and R2) have had such a feeling of total relaxation.

While this cover we created is probably average, at best, we recorded it in less than an hour, then went and had a Calzone dinner.

Vocals were done (good or bad) in one take.

This level of freedom is foreign to us and its powerfully addictive.

Trying to figure out what to do next!!!!

I'm likely not playing it just like Tony, but as long as it sounds ominous, then it's good!!@!!

Outstanding playing, Robert. I am a total fan of Sabbath. Your effort is a good testament to the song.
Take a listen to this clip. What I hear most is an Airiness of space in the riffage/ singing/ pace of the song in the Sabbath Version. Also Geezer's bass really shines throughout the song. All 4 musicians flat out killed this song on record.

We spied this today near Wrightwood, California. We spoke to the Forestry guy about access for my new All Along The Watchtower video.
