Daves Epiphone

Well my 65 year old Gibson Flying V is one of the most viscus sounding guitars I have ever played
thought I paid to much for it in 1988 and it's a feather weight at 5.5 pounds
last time I played it on stage 1968 Marshall Super Lead 100 no effects 2001
I did change the tuners and bridge weighed the original tuners the other day heavy gold plating 1.2 grams heaver than nickel plated
from the same area

As far as Dave’s epiphone though… I mean you might as well get the prophecy V. That one makes me think someone from Epiphone called Dave who answered half asleep, epiphone shotgunned some ideas. Dave said “yea, sure. Sounds great.” Then rolled back over and went back to sleep.

At that price I would at least expect his signature pickups. But nope, fishmans… what’s even the point other than it’s got his name on it? Don’t get me wrong, I love epiphone, but 1400-1500 is too much for something that isn’t even all that special. Not even the finish is special, you can get that on the les Paul prophecy. And on top of that… I don’t really care for fishman moderns all that much..
