D'Angelicos

I recall we discussed this a bit previously.
If you like them, thats all that matters, and I know you are particular about your gear.
I dont know what D'Addario series are re-branded as the D'Angelicos. I doubt they spec'd. their own, but could be.

I like everything about the plain old D'Addario XL / EXL strings except the hi e ball ends pull out too often.
Guitarus Interruptus.

D'Addario strings are really the only strings I have a preference for, if I'm buying my 'favorite' strings type thing. Other than that I generally end up getting Ernie Ball strings or generic MusiciansGear strings for around the house burn'y type strings. Like sneakers, when ever I try the more expensive ones they usually don't last as long or as good as the cheap ones ;)

But what do I know - I like recording with older strings - lol...

Agreed, but I am using them with Floyd's, so this is a non-issue...

I really do love the Ernie ball Cobalts, but I have quite a few sets of these - in my preferred gauge of .009 X .046 - so I am gonna keep using them...
