Resin wood --- is HEAVY
the contours make it VERY comfortable to play

the pick ups-- through a Marshall transport you back to 1980 instantly---
it does cleans and jazz very well.
and I paid under 400 delivered With case....................
Crazy

i tried so hard.., for some reason dont do well with SS..not against it..maybe cause my bass amps were always Ampeg SVT & Fender Bassman & got use to the warm power & kicking in like a 4 barrel carb
I hear that the only thing that saved my ass at the time was a full stack of Marshall cabs and getting to use my buddy Johns
JCM 800, on occasion
