My first Telecaster purchase was a tough decision. I wound up at my mom n pop guitar shop and trying out all they had. They had my White CV 50's for $279,.the Sunburst CV 60's and Thinline for $299 back around 2012. To make it harder was a killer Natural Ash Am STD for $600. These were easily 700+ elsewhere. Anyhow, I got the pine body 50's. Considered getting a couple CV basses too but got the pair of Vintage Modified ones instead. One P, one J
